Who is responsible

Deiji (“we”) operates this site. You can reach us at hello@wearedeiji.com or at 20 Bay Street, 11th Floor, Toronto, ON, M5J2N8, Canada.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us or what the site needs to work:

• Contact form: your name, work email and, if you choose to include them, company, country and the message you write.
• Newsletter: your email address when you subscribe.
• Free diagnosis: your work email, your company's website, industry and market, the note you add if you choose the reviewed version, and the diagnosis we prepare from public information about your company.
• Site usage: aggregate browsing data — pages viewed, referrer, device type and approximate country.

What we use it for

We do not sell your data, we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing, and we make no automated decisions about you.

• Replying to your message and continuing the conversation if there is a fit.
• Sending you the newsletter when you have subscribed.
• Preparing the free diagnosis you ask for, sending it to you and following up about it. The research is done with AI (Anthropic's Claude) on public information about your company, and our team receives a copy of what is sent.
• Spotting general patterns across many diagnoses (for example, what buyers in an industry tend to ask) to write our own content. We never name you, your company or your website, and never quote what you sent us.
• Understanding which content is useful and improving the site.

Who we share it with

We work with providers that process data on our behalf:

• Netlify — site hosting and form handling.
• Beehiiv — newsletter management and email delivery.
• Anthropic — the AI that researches the free diagnosis.
• Supabase — storage of diagnosis requests.
• Resend — delivery of the diagnosis email.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — protection of the diagnosis form against bots.
• PostHog — site usage analytics.
• Cal.com — meeting scheduling, when you book a conversation.

Analytics and cookies

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used. The current configuration does not profile anonymous visitors and masks anything typed into forms.

The site uses no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We store the campaign parameters from your first visit in your browser, so we know which content brought each person in. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when serving them. If you book a meeting, you do so on Cal.com, under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Messages from the form are kept while the conversation remains relevant. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Diagnosis requests are kept for up to 12 months. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, its correction or its deletion, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link at the foot of every email. Write to hello@wearedeiji.com and we answer within a working day.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice we update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
